Preston Montalvo is a chemical engineer with more than 15 years of experience spanning process development, industrial R&D, laboratory and pilot programs, mineral processing and hydrometallurgy, manufacturing startup, emerging technologies, scale-up, commercialization, and technical leadership.
That career includes approximately a decade of consulting and process development at Pocock Industrial, owner-side greenfield manufacturing startup at Ball Corporation, and multidisciplinary development and scale-up of emerging electrochemical and environmental technologies.
The recurring pattern is consistent: enter a technically complicated situation, understand the system, identify the real constraints, organize the work, develop the evidence, and move the project toward an executable result.
